Add An "Expiration Date"To Music Files
What would be amazing would be to be able to set the duration a music file is staying in a specific playlist. A good implementation would be :
#01: create new categories with specific times (1 day / 1 week / 2 weeks / 1 month / 1 year / unlimited)
#02: be able to add selected music files to these categories
#03: after the expiration period (if there is), the file would move physically to a folder called "Archive" and get unlisted from any playlist.
I believe this would create a much more interesting dynamics for advanced users.

Andrew Winter MergedSo, in my day-to-day operation I have promos that run for various shows over the course of a week. These promos are linked to a certain show, but I play all the promos together in a playlist that will play one promo after a certain time frame or number of songs.
I think it might be handy to be able to set an expiry date for these promos so that they only play up until the show airs, then its set to "disabled" or something based on the date you set.
This helps with the automation, so I don't have to make sure I delete the old promos right after the show.
Just a thought anyway. -

Buster Neece AdminThis solution can be achieved by setting a start and end date on the playlist that contains the files. We don't currently have any plans to automatically delete media after a certain time, as this seems very prone to accidental misconfiguration and lots of unexpected deletion.
