Remote Download
It allows me to download a file to station media folder from another place online (a website) remotely by simply entering the link of that file.
Example: I want to download https://www.domain.com/download/music.mp3 and save it directly to /var/azuracast/stations/station_name/media.

Joel KingsleyYeah, this would be a great feature. I wouldn't have to first download the file to my own local machine and then transfer it via SFTP.

Johnny McMahonThat would be wonderful! I could run cronjobs to spider remote directories and add them to the media folder.

DenisHopefully it would be secure. We wouldn't want to have anybody stealing songs just my having the URL.

FideHello,
2
some suggestions that would be very useful for the radios that use Azuracast:
- Subscription to rss
- Link subscription to playlist and be able to define that the last downloaded episode is broadcast
- Be able to define the automatic deletion of old episodes. -

Moonbase59This would be awesome to have, maybe like others can do (AirTime/LibreTime).

1. Have a secret/special URI (probably including an access token) to get the top-of-the-hour news, for example, 5 minutes before scheduled transmission, or
2. Throw an RSS feed to it and have it download current podcast episodes, for retransmission, say 1 hour before scheduled transmission.
- It would need to have some kind of "at what time" logic (i.e., xx minutes before re-broadcast).
- It would be great if it could handle RSS/Atom feeds and download podcast episodes from those, possible integrating them into some playlist.
(As you can see I’m kinda fan of working together, and partner stations syndicating stuff.) -

Samyes this could be done also for RSS feeds, which together with weekly scheduling would put azura cast on par with libretime in terms of functionality !
