PavlosIt's a must feature, however, it can end up a complicated one to be developed... I would focus on other more basic features...

WuraShow linking allows me to create recurring shows that share the same template.
Creating a smart block in one show and linking it to others will dynamically generate scheduled content for each subsequent show based on the criteria of the original.
This is great for things like “overnighters” where I might not want to program specific content but I certainly don’t want to go off air. -

Gus AustinSeems like this functionality would be very attractive to AirTime or LibreTime users.

Radio.co also provides some good examples -

Gus AustinThere's been good discussion and some interest in the LibreTime community.
https://github.com/LibreTime/libretime/issues/1203
Think it would be good to gauge interest in 'this' community. Would people fund this? -

PaulMy radio station uses Pacifica Radio tools to do this for scheduling. Each show can also be setup to be recorded and then creates an RSS feed that can be submitted for distribution. This is integrated with other features in the tool set.

StefanoYes, totally agree, it's a must but I guess it's also hard to develop; Why don;t you start with something very basic?
1) play time: it would play the time at set moments, for example at xx:00, xx:15, xx:30 and xx:45:
something like "It's 1pm";
1a) an improvement of the above could be: "It's 1pm, the temperature in Perth WA is 28 degree, slightly cloudy ... (etcetera)"; this could be generated via TTS;
2) play ad(s) at set time: this is self explanatory;
3) play the NEWS file at set times;
This could be implemented by adding a section which would manipulate the Liquidsoap code ..
Cheers, Stefano
