Add support for VST plugins
There are some incredible VST plugins out there (like StereoTool) that can give an online stream that "Big FM" sound. I would like to use some of these audio plugins with AzuraCast.
In 2017 Steinberg released the VST3 SDK under a dual license: propietary and GPLv3.

Brian JurkowskiIt's nice to see this is is now under construction! Let me know if you need any testing / feedback, etc. Although I'm not a developer, I'm happy to help in any way I can.

Brian JurkowskiDarn you, autocorrect! That was supposed to say 'under consideration'.

Coolguy3289While it's not implemented for general VST plugins, StereoTool specifically is now able to be used with Azuracast!

Ryan GVST plugins would be a great addition! Especially for pop stations who wish to have that "speed-up" the big FM ones have.

Jefferson StarseedI wouldn't mind knowing a "listing" here of the tried & true tested plugins that work with this. What is the general rule of the "type" of plugin (file) that works here? 'Help/Optomizing' under the Azuracast Documentation lists two: Thimeo Stereo Tool (pricy) and Trummerschlunk Master_Me (free/open-source). I've since come across another one, like Toneboosters Broadcast (Jeroen Breebart, 2007, also free with Toneboosters suite/demo). Would be nice to know what will work here.

Brian JurkowskiAt present, the Basic license for StereoTool is only €35 which is about $38 USD. That's not very expensive. The level of processing it provides is unreal. Sounds better than many FM stations!
