DATE in Now Playing API

Please consider adding an entry for the DATE tag in the Now Playing API. Currently I do not see a way to display the currently playing track's date of release, it would be nice to be able to.

And thanks for your work on this amazing software :)

I found a workaround: you can use Custom Fields (in Administration section) to expose the YEAR tag. If the YEAR tag is empty (this will likely happen with FLAC files), you can copy the value from the DATE tag to the YEAR tag. In foobar2000, click properties on a track, then right-click on the YEAR line (create the tag if it doesn't exist) > Format from other fields > $cut(%date%,4) > apply. Then it should be visible in the API under custom fields, for instance for the currently playing song the API variable name to use in a Webhook would be {{ now_playing.song.custom_fields.year }} .
